Southgate Motor Inn - Wellington

Our clean, spacious room featured a comfortable king bed, which was essential for restful nights. The close proximity to Wellington Hospital and attractions like Te Papa Museum made our visit convenient, and the spa bath was a good bonus for family bonding. We felt warmly welcomed by Tim and Felicity, and we look forward to returning!

It was a unique base for our very comfortable stay. Had stunning location in good area. Moreover, it was short walk to Countdown and cafes as well as the supermarket and a hop and skip to the bus stop.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and having a designated parking spot made my stay even more convenient. the location was perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions.

I had an excellent stay at Southgate Motor Inn. The location was perfect, just across the street from the hospital, which made visiting my family easy. I loved the well-appointed room, especially the balcony in room 308. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping team did a wonderful job every day. Plus, there was free and convenient parking, a rare find these days!

Staying at Southgate Motor Inn has always been my first option when travelling for work, especially with a six-month-old baby. Tim and Felicity's friendly and helpful demeanor enhances the experience, making us feel welcome. The spacious room was clean and well-equipped, perfect for our needs, with added convenience of nearby attractions like Zealandia and Cuba Street to explore during our downtime. Highly recommended for hospital visitors!

After complaining, the front desk offered no help. It felt really frustrating and disrespectful; I expected more from the management. Never again!

Just stayed here, and the best part was the huge bathroom! so nice to have space to move around. 🙌 Everything was handy-supermarket and food places just a stroll away. the room could've used a bit more soundproofing.
